Legacy Word to Unicode Word

A Word file typed in Kruti Dev, DevLys or another legacy font, back as the same Word file in Unicode. Only the text set in that font changes; nothing is copied, pasted or retyped.

Leave it on detect if you are not sure. The ones marked “not yet” will tell you so rather than converting badly.

Kept: Everything but the letters: tables, headers and footers, bold, italic, underline, alignment, spacing, pictures, and English text in its own font.

Not kept: The legacy font itself. The converted text is set in Noto Sans, a Unicode font, at a size that keeps the letters as large as they looked, so a page can end a little earlier or later than before.
