Small tools that each do one job: look inside a PDF before you convert it, split it, change an image’s format, or get a Word file ready for PageMaker. Free like everything on IndicPDF during the beta, with no sign-up.
Look inside a PDF
Analyse →
Up to 500 PDFs, Word files and scans at once. For each file it says whether the text is Unicode, a legacy font or a scan, and which tool will convert it. The report downloads as HTML or CSV.
Which font does my PDF use? →
Every font in a PDF: its name, its type, whether it is embedded, and whether its text copies out as the letters you see.
Does this PDF use a legacy font? →
Why text copied from some Indian-language PDFs pastes as Latin letters, and how to tell before you convert.
Is this PDF a scan? →
How to tell a scanned page from one with real text, including a scan carrying a watermark or another program’s OCR.
Pages and pictures
Split PDF →
Take out pages by number, or split a bilingual document by the script on each page: Hindi pages in one file, English in another. Pages are copied, not redrawn.
Image Converter →
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP into each other, in your browser, so the image is not uploaded. TIFF and ICO are read too. Any of them can also be made into a PDF, which is done on our server.
